[Video] A Late Halloween Gift

[When the video feed begins, Fattycakes is not on the screen. His voice can still be heard, though.]

Hi, everybody! Did you all have fun during Halloween? I know I did, what with the corn maze and our nice visitors! But there's something I want to show you guys. I went to the end of the corn maze, and I found something neat! Just one moment...

[Now Fattycakes scoots onto the screen. He is wearing a small toga and a laurel wreath.]

Ta-daa! I am Buulius Caesar! I don't know if many of you know who he is, but I know he's some kind of historical figure from my friend's world. I think I might wear this costume around a bit, even though Halloween is already past. I like how it looks! Do you like it? Puuuuuu? [He leans into the camera, then pulls away.]

Did you guys do anything neat for Halloween?

[...hang out?... must be a colloquialism for a place often frequented.]

I am often found at the Dome. What place do you often frequent?

Ah, the Battledome... I don't go there very often. I have a hut out there, but I don't visit it very often. I like the plaza, though, so I can watch all the people come and go! Otherwise, I have huts in the wooded area north of the south bridge, and one behind community house 7. I like the hut above the south bridge the most, though. It's in the center of everything.

[spohkh]

[Spock's curiosity piques at that... This might be an opportunity to study this species.]

Would you be amenable to showing me one of your 'huts'? I can meet you at the South Bridge.

[puubuu]

Of course! You can come visit, if you'd like. Look around the threes just north of the south bridge, and eventually you'll see the hut. I'll even come out and look for you. Just make sure to look down!

[spohkh]

[Spock nods....]

Very well... I will be there momentarily.

[The screen goes blank.]

Spock is walking slowly across the bridge and scanning north. He was having difficulty locating this 'hut']

[Fattycakes had a little foresight and scurried out of his hut to look for Spock. He spots him from a distance away and calls out to him.]

Puuu! Hey! Are you Spock? I'm over here!

*snerk*

[spohkh]

[Spock hears the voice and approaches the strange creature... he is silent for a moment...
Then he bows his head.]

It is will to make your acquaintance Mister...Fattycakes.

[puubuu]

Nice to meet you too, Spock! I should have prepared something for you... but I didn't have enough time. Sorry.

[spohkh]

[Spock snaps out of his confused state, and offers the little creature a half-smile.]

Further preparations are unnecessary.

How did you build this...hut?

[puubuu]

I built this hut with a little Puffski magic and some help from a friend. When Puffskis settle in a new world, they bring building materials and, for the most part, they can build the huts themselves. It's just as simple as "flash," and the boards are cut and pasted together!

[spohkh]

You are a magical creature? [Spock cannot help the look of surprise.... ]

[puubuu]

Yes! That's probably one of the best ways to describe us aside from "puffy." We have lots of little magic.

I think spock wants to cuddle you like a tribble~

[spohkh]

[Spock looks at the puffski, then at the 'little' house...] Perhaps you can describe certain components of your hut? [That was Spock's way of asking for the tour...]

I've been waiting for the tribble references. X'D

[puubuu]

"Components?" Puu? [Big words fly over his head sometimes.] Um... well... it's made of wood planks that I found in the item store, the floor is a soft material picked out by a friend... um... I'm not really sure about all its components, buu.

*snerk* Wait till February, I plan to bring them in. XD

[spohkh]

[Spock gives Fattycakes a half-smile....] That is sufficient information. My apologies for all the questions, but you are a remarkable creature, and it is an honour to have had this opportunity to meet you.

[Spock bows his head slightly for emphasis.]

Yesssssss. Fattycakes will be convinced they are his spacefaring relatives.

Puu, it's okay! I like questions. ...Hey, you don't need to bow to me. I am but a humble Puffski!

[Spock gives his new acquaintance a half-smile... quite the feat for a Vulcan...]
