[Voice] What's going on?

Hi, everybody! I heard about the new people coming in today... I can't say I understand all of it, but it sounds like they're coming from a bad place. I hope they like it here!

Something's kind of weird about them, though. A little boy came over and started to play with me. He was picking me up, petting me, asking me questions, things like that. Then a lady yelled at him and he ran away! What was with that, huh?! That wasn't very nice! Why would she yell at the boy just for playing with me...?

Oh, another weird thing happened, too. A man who appeared to be in a hurry ran by... and he kicked me! He punted me like I was a puffy puuball! I'm sure it was an accident, but he wouldn't answer me when I scooted after him and asked him to say sorry!

So, what I want to ask is... what's with these new people? Why are they so... um... mean? They seem awfully on edge.

Yeah! What did I ever do to them, huh? But what if I helped them? That would give them a reason to be nice to me.

That's true, but it's easier for some people to help people than others. So you shouldn't blame yourself.

Yeah... it's hard to help when I can't carry much or scoot very fast. But maybe I can entertain them, somehow!

You could try that, but if they're not in a good mood that might not be too safe.

Surely some of them have time for a little fun! I'll find a funny outfit and scoot around and do a funny dance... [He seems quite taken with his idea...]

[If May was the type to laugh than she would, instead she smiles and claps, even though it's simply voice.]

I think that some of them would find that amusing, it might brighten up some of their days.

Puu~ Then it would be mission accomplished! [May can't see it, but Fattycakes is fluttering his wings in excitement.]

Yup! I wonder if there are any children from that place that would want to play with you too.

Well... there was a little boy who tried to play with me, like I said. But that lady made him put me down.

Right.., the adults would get in the way of the children.

I wonder if any adults would be willing to let them play with me... if I could find a few, I might be okay.

That could work! No adult can tell another adult not to play with you.

Well, maybe they will... but we'll just see about that! Hopefully they won't argue.
