This is just general information on Puffskis so you know where Fattycakes is coming from. This has been slightly revamped from its older version.
Puffskis are soft, round, fuzzy creatures. They travel from their home planet (they have dimension/world-traveling abilities) to various places around the multiverse. When they arrive in a particular universe, they will establish a small community there (or in multiple places if multiple packs of Puffskis move to that world), preferably in a kind of natural clearing not too far from a small human town (I’m thinking like… well, a meadow clearing, but with enough nearby trees and shrubs for them to scurry under).
In terms of intelligence, they’re kind of in an odd spot between adults and children and humans and animals. They are smart and “mature” enough to take care of their young (called Pufflings) and to literally build a small community. They bring supplies for growing their food of choice- a kind of large, broad leaf that is said to be very sugary to the taste- and for building little hut-like structures that are surprisingly impervious. However, they can behave very childishly and mischievously, performing comedic antics for any humans and pouting if they are scolded.
They like interacting with humans very much, which is why they make sure to put their community near a small town. Every so often one (or a few) will scoot into town and generally be a fuzzy little distraction to everyone they see. They don’t mind receiving visitors to their community at home, either.
They like sugary foods, especially things with cream or frosting on/in them. Do NOT leave your pies cooling on the windowsill; it will either be gone or you’ll have a bunch of whiny bratty Puffskis bawling over how they ate something that was too hot (even though they kind of deliberately ignored the steam). If they have eaten something messy, they may hang around till you wipe their faces for them. This is what I mean by “childish behavior.”
Puffskis communicate in puus, buus, and occasionally fragments of other words that they have picked up from the area around them (for example, a Puffski may describe something as “Is puffy. Is buu.”). They can understand human languages almost perfectly, even if they can’t speak it. A theory on their way of speaking is that, even though they may only say puu or buu to another Puffski, a “sentence” or “true meaning” of some sort may be transmitted along some special psychic wavelength that only they are attuned to, enabling them to understand each other.
Puffskis have some "magical" abilities given by their mother goddess as tools to help them. They can build their huts using flashes of magic; said magic also makes the houses remarkably sturdy. They also have some degree of telekinetic power that allows them to pick up objects without hands. They also have a kind of protective passive glamour that makes them a bit luckier than most, along with an active glamour that they can use to briefly stun or confuse an enemy so that they can escape. (Important note: for the sake of RP and for the sake of avoiding accidental godmodding, the passive glamour really does very little in practice. A puffski may be a bit more likely to dodge an attack, but that's more or less it.)
That isn’t to say that they’re not without defenses; if something is REALLY bothering them, they can use a surprisingly powerful bite (they have “hidden” fangs that only pop out when they need them) to protect themselves.
